The opening of registration for Raccoongaine 2019 is 2 weeks away. Registration will open promptly at 1 pm on January 1; the event will take place on March 30 and 31. There are a number of changes for Raccoongaine that you need to be aware of:

Raccoongaine 2019 will be a two-day event with the 3-hour race on Saturday and the 6-hour race on Sunday. Controls are separate for the two races; so it is possible to do both races. See more information at event webpage. On January 1, a registration link will appear on this page.

There is still a limit on entries, 125 people for each race - due to the size of Rec Hall.

All registration prior to the event itself must be done online using the new preregistration system. In order to use this system, you must enter all of a team's information at once, including all team member's information. The system will not permit you to leave elements blank.

All registrations prior to the event must be paid for online using a credit card or PayPal account.

All waivers will be signed at the event.

If you have to make changes to a registration you must contact the registrar via e-mail. Do not send the registrar original registrations and do not send the registrar payments using checks.

Can you list out the needed info to register?

Shepes, it would also be good if a printable waiver is available - that will allow people to have it filled out before arrival and also facilitate non-attending parents signing for minor participants.

I have modified the page at event webpage to include a link to a page called Registration Information. This should tell you everything you need to know about registering, including how to get a waiver for minors. This page is exactly what you will see during registration, except it lacks the link to actually register. Here is the direct link to the information

As for printable waivers, experience shows they are a waste of effort prior to the event. Only about half a dozen teams fill them out ahead of time.

And how much effort is it that would be wasted?

Last year sold out in four days...I imagine they can recover even if six teams hold hard and fast to preferring pre arrival waivers.
