All of the water controls I stopped at had 2 unopened gallons and 1 barely used. You might get to haul them back out too!

The unopened ones usually become opened and poured out before coming back unless it's right next to the road. In any case, lots of people were helping with pickup, very grateful for that.

The math is tricky - 60 competitors taking an 8 oz swig and you are suddenly at four gallons. But when it's <40 and early, it's probably less, except if it isn't....likewise, I'd like a better solution for rogaines (although there it's easy to be lazy and do drive up, other than the pain of buying 40 gallons of water at a grocery store).

If I had planned better, I could have brought my bike trailer and it would have been trivial. Next time!

At NZ O champs they had sport bottles that you just squirted into your mouth instead of gallons and cups. It’s nice but I guess a little less sanitary and doesn’t change much for the setter.

At some point I want to propose Lost Arrow and MetroNav acquire some sort of stands and ~six gallon jug system with spout, so we can have any easy pour system and then it's maybe easier to deal with six of those than six * six singles.
