Pretty impressive doing it 7 years after the previous one! It seemed to me that your training has been regular and intensive. Kudos.

Thanks, yes training has been really good the last half year. Basically ever since I got the running stroller :)

Awesome time!
What's your PB? Or PR or whatever they use in Norway?

I ran 32:48 at the sunrun in 2011. Mathias owns literally all other Nipen family records under the sun, except this one. This weekend he was within 7s for the third time.

This season we have been experimenting with the training approach behind the success of the Ingebrigtsen brothers, running a lot at lactate threshold pace and very little at race pace or faster. The idea is to spend more time at speed without destroying the legs for the next day.

Hey, that's a nice approach. Some of us are very good at the "very little at race pace or faster" part.

Impressed too. Never quite made it myself (34.01 was as good as it got).

Random personal trivia at one remove - my sister was born in Hønefoss. This is the first time in my life Hønefoss has come up in any other context.

Random, why was she born there?
