Nice looking map and courses! Absolutely love the idea of a Sunday long chase based on the Saturday middle results. Our Champs races are all normally interval start. IMHO this Ottawa O Fest / Ontario Champs format is way more interesting.

Example: Course 7 has Isak Fransson leading off with a 43 second gap to his Dad, Hans. My money is on Hans catching Isak but with Isak then pulling ahead before the finish. ;-)

Awesome courses and terrain! Couldn't stay for the Monday sprint but had a great time in the middle and long. Thanks to everyone in Ottawa O Club for a fun meet.

Hammer, it happened just as you predicted, Isak sprinting in before Hans although they been together earlier on the course.

Yup. I caught him to #2 and then we were more or less together for the next few controls but just before the the second map he started to pull away and was ahead the rest of the course. I managed to close the gap a couple of times but was pretty much left standing the last 2-3 controls when the downhill running started. It was two fun races and both the courses and terrain were great. Thanks Ottawa.
