What is the scale? Is a 3 lower or higher than normal?

I hear from my favorite nurse that her male patients tended to use much higher numbers than female patients undergoing similar treatments. A 3, though, sounds like a low number, which makes me think you could be dancing on the tree tops right now.

Oops, I thought I made that a private note. I am starting to track pain levels on a 1-10 scale, so yes, 3 is pretty low. A good sign after running in the woods and then sitting in a car for a long time. Over Labor Day weekend, it was sometimes (especially early in the day) reaching 7-8 levels, where I had a hard time focusing on anything besides the pain.
