(Personally I don't ride horses or white water rafts. I spent many weeks in Leadville and Buena Vista, CO over the years and heard from the locals how many people died in white water rafts (and kayaks). Now I'm scared. Horses are another story :-)

The safety protocols have improved greatly over the years for white water rafting thank goodness . The guides seem to be far better qualified .
Yes my GPS tracks all over the globe are a nice reminder of the fun stuff I have done .
