What a treat. Glad to see you were sensible with the speed coming down, especially on the corners. I saw a max of about 40mph on a straight section? Were there lots of other riders on the road? I always thought it would be fun to do some of these climbs, but photos and vids I've seen show the roads pretty crowded in season. I could do without the white-knuckle downhills though.

A minor pass this and quicker to drive around than go over, so very little traffic on it (two cars passed on the climb and caught one descending), saw maybe two dozen cyclists as well. Would guess that the main passes get a lot busier. Road was too narrow for fast descending, but think we hit 76kph.
