Hi guys,
I am not sure if I can speak on behalf of the whole USA WOC team, but at least I will speak for myself. This past week, it has been very pleasant for me to go online, go to attackpoint, and find fresh discussion and updates of our results and performance, as well as receive fanmail from some of you. :) It is really nice to see that there are orienteers back home who care and follow the results of the US team. And believe me, it is very much appreciated!

Let me also say that WOC has been a great experience for me personally, with the sprint, run through the city with crowds of loud spectators lining the streets, being something unreal that I had never seen in my orienteering career before but really enjoyed anyway. Watching Brian qualify for the middle final was a great thrill, and seeing his consistent performance made me believe in the potential of US elite orienteering. And, of course, it was a lot of fun! I should have some pictures available online when I am back in New York next week.

Again, thank you all for your continuing support.

- Boris

Thanks to everyone who did their best, did considerably better than before, and all that with little attention and support, save from this hardcore group. Great thanks also to Beatrice for that magic touch.

Brian, Sandra, Erin, James, Eric, Boris, Pavlina, Karen—awesome WOC! Let's do better next year!
