I've been waiting for your write-up. It sounds like you had a great trip...so jealous. We'll have to plan a trip together and I promise I'll go!

Thanks for all the photos of Iceland, brings back fond memories. Tough to orienteer in lava, isn't it? Seems like you had fun in Denmark. Makes me want to go to a WMOC someday!Good for you for traveling all that way and orienteering under tough conditions.

Mary, I would attend another WMOC depending on the appeal of the host city / country. 60% of the attendees at this one were age 60 and older. Maybe next time I'd pick O-Ringen or Swiss O-Week. I would definitely go back to Copenhagen!

Kris -- multiple people were talking up Scottish 6-Days, which I know you like. :-)

Scottish 6-Days is where it’s at! About the same size as a WMOC (maybe a bit smaller), chill atmosphere, very well organized. And Scottish terrain is quite varied. Plus you’re surrounded by people with cute accents the whole week! We’ve penciled in 2019! Join us!

How'd you find it? Air BnB?

Yes, Airbnb. I got a heads up at the 2017 6-days that lots of people reserve their houses already 2 years out. After having a tough time finding places that were close to the event the last two times I've been there, I decided to go ahead and reserve it early. I have a house in Comrie.
