Had a decent warm-up strudel on Sunday from about a block away from the market since it was closed, but that only whetted my appetite for the real thing.
Got into the market at 7:30am this morning - stalls were still being set up, but I came away with three strudels and a fruit cup. Enjoyed them on the banks of the Blue (well actually rather brown) Danube with Jeff. Still warm and fresh. Absolute bliss.
Best part of Hungary so far, slightly outperforming the small town ice cream/cake/coffee shop: https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Szent+Korona+Cukr...
Best ice cream I've ever had, wide variety of options, amazing prices, incredible atmosphere, I could go on and on. Worth a couple a trip to Hungary just to sit in this shop.

That was Sunday evening with Jeff and the American coaches. It was a less touristy 500 year old set of pools with next to no English service. We weren't really sure what we were buying, but it all worked out. The main pool was around 36 degrees, a cold pool at 22ish, a hot one around 40 degrees. There was also an outdoor wooden hot tub which was very similar to the one at my grandparents.
