Yes, England have somehow forged a path to the final avoiding all the handful of teams that are better than them, very well played. For real though they have been good, as you say. English fans (or at least the ones in the song) seem sort of like Cubs fans in a doofy, always-expecting-the-worst kind of way, so it would be fun to see them win.

I’m excited that France is through! Though I’m rooting for England at this point haha my cousins will be pleased.
