You mentioned them in your description of the race. Wow, bad job by whomever made the course map of placing those numerals! That would have certainly given me pause as I looked for #12.

Well, it gave me pause when I was looking for 11 and I screwed it up, realizing I had lost track and turning too soon.

I was on the way from 10 to 11 when I spotted the snafu. WTF? So I slowed down to look femore carefully at it, make sure there was no possibility I was supposed to cross over to the one marked 12. Verified that the clue for 12 was a fountain. By now I had turned west and suddenly realized I wasn’t paying all that close attention to the execution of 11. Had I gone far enough? Started to turn S, got several steps down there, had to backtrack.
