I'm still hopeful of making it to the Austrian MTBO Champs some 350km from Vienna airport where we're arriving at 8:50am and starts are from 2pm! At least we don't have to rely on public transport but we will have to sort out cars and luggage at the airport before heading off, then putting the bikes together, getting motivated...
