I believe they're trying to get it open for the Eagles game on the 21st.

will running on the bridge be allowed or will a full risk assessment be required?

That's not very long away. I'll be impressed if they get it done by then.

Perhaps that means they're trying to get it open before the 21st century ends.

I didn't say they were going to make it, just they they were trying. :)

(It heavily affects the bus movements for the footy matches, so it's a Big Thing in our office at the moment)

I have an interest in this as I plan to attend said match (having noticed that it was scheduled for the day before I was planning to fly to the northern hemisphere, which made routing via Perth a plausible option). I may revisit whether this was a good idea when we're 80 points down 15 minutes into the last quarter.
