Anybody know if there are any existing maps of Santorini or Rhodes?

There's apparently also one on Crete - one of the adventure businesses there offers orienteering as an activity. It didn't fit into our schedule, so we didn't pursue it much, but I can probably figure out where I saw it if that's also of interest.

Thanks! I've visited both Santorini and Rhodes before. I'll be on both for 2 days - I've covered most of the normal "tourist" things - looking for off-the-beaten path or unusual activities. Any ideas welcome. Was hoping there might be a good sprint map of Santorini, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Is there a bad sprint map available to make do with?

I've been to Santorini, it looked like it should be possible to create a more or less OK sprint map based on ortho photos? The Google Earth images are quite high resolution and there is Street View coverage of most of the roads at least.

Days of work for a 15 minute run? But then, when has the economics of sprint orienteering ever worked out?

Well, to be honest, I've noticed that I've spent more hours in orienteering organization than orienteering. And it continues.
