Well, I didn't win the pie, not with that run. And the pie winners had other plans for the pie than having it all devoured on-site. They certainly looked beautiful and delicious!

I was thinking about you, Neil. Remembering that training camp I did from your house. And how much I struggled in Blue Mountain; apparently I still do! =)

More seriously, it sounds like you were so worried about your physical state, that you expended a lot of mental energy on it at the expense of navigation. I think that's a very common issue when lacking confidence in your shape... Good work sticking with it and fighting hard to the end! I hope your knee heals up quickly.
