I loved this entire entry. Just reminds me of how helpful and thoughtful you’ve always been to help people, especially in orienteering, especially kids and beginners and up-and-comers.
I agree, the vibe this weekend with all the kids from all over was so cool.

A really pleasant report, and particularly noteworthy this phrase: "I said I was the one who was thankful, for a really wonderful experience." Just a reminder of how much fun it can be to show some kindness to others, and how stimulating to interact with a bunch of young people you would not otherwise have ever met. Good for you to seize the opportunity and enjoy it, to give so much to the kids, and then to reflect on it in such a personal and powerful way.

Not only did you provide an admirable educational experience for them, you set a great example for the kids to hold in mind and perhaps someday emulate.
