Thanks! Maybe have a look at the GPS replay though, can't be very happy about it overall.

What's even worse is it looks like I'm following TuMe due to some GPS lag >:(

You're right - a bit of a shocker at 11... Looked to me like you were moving quicker than the guys around you - maybe just a wee bit over the ragged edge?

Yep, temporarily relaxing at an inappropriate moment...

Ohh man !! Never temporarily relax at an inappropriate moment ;-)
Seriously though, well done Sasha.

Like you say, lessons to be learned.
A suggestion.
When you reach a point in a race and think "ah, I can relax a bit"
you need to make that a trigger for a positive response - a response that says "no, it ain't over 'till its over"
But that response needs not to be lip service, it needs to be action, FIRST thing to do - confirm your switch back on point, then maybe re-check your up-coming route, keep your mind working, do something positive so you don't actually switch off. programme yourself.

Regarding EOC - maybe technically less complex terrain but that doesn't make it easier.
Remember that ....
Its not whether you can find the control, but what is the right speed to find the control ?
