I would say that almost 30s per mile faster is quite significant! Must be all those donuts out there, enticing you along the way.
That's something I definitely always think about while running -- "what kind of delicious treat will I have when I finish...?" ;-)
I wonder if CW vs. CCW has an effect on overall pace (event though it's the same net elevation gain)?
Ah, so if I set a hilly orienteering course, just have something tasty at the end?
Or at the top of each big hill?
