Kenine Hill - apparently I'm updating it sometime in the near future (since my bush mapping skills are so awesome). Private property though.
Dryandra would be the obvious choice for both....not quite on the direct line to Esperance, but it's pretty much the only one outside the Perth arc that isn't private property.
Hit me up if you want a copy of the O map. :)
I was thinking a little more coastal...something lovingly created on behalf of ADHOC, perhaps?
Camp Quaranup - there's only a tiny bit of green on it.

There's a few in and around Albany, but most of the bush there is atrocious - Mount Clarence and Melville have some awesome rock if you're willing to find it. The Mount Elphinstone sprint map is good for a run too.
Random piece of trivia for the day: Esperance is the southernmost location in Australia to have reached 40 degrees in April (on 4 April 1978, in association with Cyclone Alby). Whether it will have retained its status in, say, six hours' time remains an open question.
Is Tasmania heating up this week?
Yes please young Paul, I'd like to obtain a copy of Mt Elphinstone, if you would be so kind. Or should I contact the Tooms?
Sprint the SW maps - make up for your DNS in 2014.
They're nowhere near between Perth and Esperance.
They're near the coast between Perth and Esperance.
Since Jenny is passing through Narrogin either on the way to Esperance, or on the way back, then Dryandra is the best option on public land. There is a forested block of around 1.5 sq km which has some nice features on the East side of Kenine Hill, accessible from Carters Rd, which may or may not be public land.
You mean I can't go for a secret controllers' business run in the vicinity of Narrogin...?
As I recall the bit of bush off Cater Rd is only for very brave people who have no fear of parrot bush and all things prickly!
After Bay of Fires dark green, parrotbush is a breeze.
