If w35 seems 90% pointless, w40 seems 80% pointless, reconciliation is due to hit by w55

Graeme’s example would suggest that by then you will be back on 21E.....

I feel a bit sorry for those of you the wrong side of the participation age bulge. The numbers in 35, 40 and (to a lesser extent) 45 are such that I can see why you might consider acting your age as pointless. I'm not sure what the solution is. Scrapping M/W35 would be a start.
Good though to see some serious competition going on in W40 and also Heather acting her age. Congratulations on your best overall performance trophy.

Maybe a good vets league might be what is needed. I know there is the UKOL but that’s really only for rich pensioners who have the time / money to drive the length of the country for some courses on areas of dubious quality. Something along the lines of J.K., BOC x 3, Scottish champs and the best lakes weekend of the year. And A token southern race (I’ve never been to a ‘November Classic’ or a ‘Caddihoe Chase’ or an ‘OK Nuts’ and would love to know what they are) and maybe the VHI, and the JOK chasing sprint sometimes. But you would have to reduce the age classes to make it competitive and I’m not sure how that would work. In the meantime, W21 for the rest of the year I think.
