My first 50 miler, the North Face Endurance Challenge, traveled some of those trails. Gorgeous views - lucky you!

Incredible place to run! I can’t imagine doing 50 miles in that terrain. Then again we started the run by going straight up Mt Tam and that kicked my ass and i was in survival mode thereafter.

Fantastic run! BTW, we walk the steep uphills with poles so it’s not *that* hard.
