Is it still running? or did the trees turn off with the snow and drop in temps?

A little sunshine will get them going, especially with cold nights. They are happy to run with the snow around. I think I have collected all the sap I am going to collect. I kind of liked collecting it, but I had no patience for boiling it.

Running strong. But I’m in Truckee now, so it’s going to be all over the ground.

Charlie — make yourself an RO system and cut out 2/3’s of the boiling. Try googling “backyard reverse osmosis”.

Turns out I don't have much use for syrup anymore. Kind of lost my interest in it.
