Hi all,

Quantico Orienteering Club is organizing a junior training camp the weekend of March 17-18 at Prince William Forest Park in Virginia, site of multiple US Championships in years past.

The program includes two training sessions each day, as well as a night-O event on Saturday evening. Exercises of different difficulty levels will be available, so orienteers of all ability are welcome. Coaching will be provided for all juniors. The coaching team is let by U.S. Team member and Junior Development Team Coach Greg Ahlswede. This is a great opportunity to hone your skills before JWOC selection races or simply to improve your orienteering!

Housing will be provided onsite in cozy heated cabins, and delicious meals will be offered throughout the weekend by a fantastic team led by QOC member Florence Tan.

Note that non-juniors are also welcome to attend and participate, but priority for housing and coaching will be given to juniors.

Registration is open here.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you are interested in volunteering as a coach, chaperone, or kitchen support personnel.
