You will regret working. I'm not going to say it again!
My rapidly-diminishing bank balance won't, tho!
I'm not very robust right now - may as well sit in an office, and make £££, as I can't realistically do the things I'd like to with my spare time. And I'm bored as hell.
Not got the contract yet anyway. It's only 6 months, & may go on a year or so, but it's not forever.
I can't say I've really got the habit (working) any more. It just consumes so much of your time.
Well, who knows. Taking up so much time is the issue. Grim. iNterview went OK today - but technically I'm very rusty.... oops!
Can you ask for part time? a lot of us oldies have part time roles now, and do other stuff, eg charlie (2 days work / golf 3 days, running/O 3 days), Liz ( 3 days, 1-2 days massage therapist), me (0 days work, 3 runs, 1 climb, 1-2 music days).
Or Tim Tett - several clients, has been known to spend all day with one, then work til 2-3am on the other..... he's down here now, on crutches. Poor bloke. I'm his taxi.
Groan.
