We are looking for volunteers for the upcoming World Cup/World Masters Ski-Orienteering Events that will take place at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center on Tuesday March 6th, Wednesday March 7th, Friday March 9th and Saturday March 10th.

We have put together a detailed list of volunteer needs for this event. In general we will need folks to help out from about 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (depending on the job) Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday and even more on Friday for the long distance event which starts earlier and goes later.

Jobs include activities like start line and giving out maps, collecting maps and bibs, registration and arena set up (plus feeds and road crossing monitoring on Friday). For those with orienteering skills we have some more orienteering specific jobs possible.

If you let me know when you would be able to commit to helping I will assign you a job that is needed and will get back to you with specifics and also put you on the Volunteers group list to get any updates about the events. Please let me know if you have specific skills or limitations.

If you are coming from a distance we have some housing available for volunteers (Home stays with Craftsbury residence). Let me know if you have this need.

Thanks again. At this point we know we have racers from Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Romania, Canada, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, U.S. and more signed up. Exciting!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Warmly, Allison
