Discussion: Cyclists from behind

I've had that happen to me before too. Once when I was about to overtake a cyclist as I was going up a hill in Kings Park, a girl cyclist came up from behind and told me off for not looking out for cyclists coming up behind me before overtaking! She would have had a pretty good idea of what I was about to do - it's not like I'd been sitting behind the one I'd been about to overtake for ages and then decided out of the blue to overtake just to annoy the one behind me.

I'm still annoyed, because this was a dead end road, with no lanes and no traffic. Admittedly I am a fairly unco cyclist...
