On my phone now, so not super link savvy...
Hubman ones, for sure. There was a really nice JWOC teaser with a similar look (started urban, then forest), and another one of a German (?) event/festival with a bunch of runners of all ages wearing he same kit and running around terrain/city.
And some of the Jukola relay ones, too!
This?

And...
Did you end up making it out to these ends?
And to close...
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggooooooooooossss!
Ha!!!
Cool Hammer!
Didn't realize they did the Jukola ones - those are dynamite.
Thanks everyone, this is perfect.
Interesting discussion after the movies that the majority of the movies were white dudes. Sophia brought this up to DaveMac and he said there really were not movies submitted by and showing women and they wanted more, but had none to pick from. Expect they will proactively look to work on this for next year.
Also, who wants to start an Orienteering film?
Diversity is a longstanding concern for people at the Banff Centre too. They want their film festival to show diversity in adventure but they need more submissions from people outside the white dude demographic. It has been moving slowly in a more diverse direction.
The biggest problem with almost *all orienteering videos is the music. Most of them have this advertising aesthetic with everything bigger then life which does in no way capture how I feel about the sport or what makes it attractive to me etc. Yes it might interesting to see what a female director would come up with. I actually know one who has secret plans :)
My favourite Orienteering video is still the one from the New York Times, because it is so down to earth:

And in the educational department this one here:

If only there was a female Canadian Orienteering star who is naturally charismatic and would be great on camera. Oh wait!
Just gave Maia a push, she promised that something is coming this weekend!
