Sunny warm Fall season day in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Three (3) maps scale 1:12500 printed on plastic (tearproof, waterproof)
3, 6, 12 hour divisions
Strat-O-Matics won the 6-hr division with over 1000 points.
The majority of the controls were in the central and eastern map. To reach the controls in the western map, one had to run long stretches on paved road. A corn maze was added into the mix with 3 controls, each worth just 10 points.
One control was slightly misplaced in a un-mapped faint ditch-reentrant near the mapped (and much bigger) reentrant, but participants were able to locate it by spotting the visually bright white plastic water jugs (it was a water control).
