If really it's that you're the only person to do six races, is that an achievement? Not something you're going to tell the grandkids about. It sounds like work is hectic too - don't give yourself 4 hours extra driving fatigue.

And this is going to sound mean, but I genuinely say it with care - you're the one that makes your life crazy. That means you are entirely able to re-prioritise and make it less so. But you have to want to.

I know that, Becky. Every action I make is a choice. If there's a way, I'm choosing the trail race over the orienteering, but right now there isn't a way. Couple messages out, so we'll see if that turns anything up.

The importance of the series? Well, I've never won it. And, it would be nice to be able to show Inov-8 that I didn't totally suck this year, even though I haven't made any one of my goals.

Becky: There will be other women who do six races, just none as fast as Alex. I think it's a worthy goal!
