Pity we weren't in the Finish Shute at the same time. Perhaps we could have reduced our times s a little with some competition - I did 50 also.
Which route did you take to Hill End? We went the western route on way there and eastern on way back. Western is far superior!

Ditto with the routes in terms of sequencing. Define 'superior'? Both were bloody winding in my opinion. Western route's ridgelines made me think of what the Capertee rogaine could have been like without forestation!

I thought eastern seemed much narrower. Yes definitely re Capertee
