Never underestimate the power of goading by an erstwhile adversary :-)

Super impressive to get as far as you did with all the loose rock. Really only a mountain bike should be ridden either up or down that road.

And now I have to keep training on hills and go back and do it in under 32.

The leaves that are down are already making it hard, both for seeing rocks and for traction, and it's not going to get any easier. Don't know how much they affect the running, but I can't imagine they help.

More of a problem going down than up. There was often a little stripe on one side or the other that was clear of rocks and leaves, but probably easier to use on foot than on the bike.
