Cristina has set up a new web address for the 2008 Sprint Series (which has already started, so what if it is still 2007...), which will run through September 2008.
There are a couple of changes in the rules for 2008 ? the points for each sprint drop by two for the first few places (makes it worth more to finish at or near the top), and fundraisers for our national teams add a 10-point bonus, up from 5 points last year.
We hope to have the first installment of the standings done before long.
To add an sprint to the calendar, let us know about it as soon as possible, in any case at least 20 days before the event.
And remember the most important thing -- sprint fast, sprint smart, sprint often!

The first update of the standings for the 2008 Sprint Series is out, thanks to our new number cruncher supreme, Gil Robs of Rochester, and the results show that, well, the Commissioner knew what he was saying when he advised folks to sprint early and sprint often.
How long can he keep the lead? :-)
