What's worse is the £7 for a child to run 10 minutes round a white course.

Aye, the £7 almost made me spit out my dummy, too. (Some) SOLs seem to have really leapt up in price over the last couple of years - cascade effect of the frankly ludicrous costs of things like the JK and British beginning to be seen as "OK"?

Boycott. Only Matthew is paying and running on Sunday and the whole family have decided not to go on the Saturday. When you can wander in the forest for free....

I missed getting the "cheap rate" by 9 hours and have had to pay £18 for my entry!!

Arrrgh that is ridiculously expensive! Surely, printing numbers can be finalised just a few days before the event. I don't understand why we still have two-week closing dates.
