Daily life is fine. I can go up and down stairs without feeling much, and walking is good. Long-term sitting isn't awesome. Running faster than about a 9min mile is not good, though, too much pressure at the kneecap.
So, I'm making a really conscious effort to not be a total grump. It's hard. I'm super bummed.
