so what was better on 7 to 8 and 8 to 9? I think I would go around on the trail from 7 to 8 but go straight from 8 to 9. What did you do?

I wish I was there...

7-8 was better going straight, lost maybe 20 seconds. 8-9 was close, I don't think I lost any there.

Only 2.5 meter contours, no big deal.

from what i've been reading, probably a good idea to stay away from even the hint of green slash.

I went straight on 7-8 and road on 8-9 - compared to the field (M55 or Green) these were two of my best legs even though I walked most of the spur on 7-8 and walked 20+ steps on the road. So I liked the choices. On 8-9, Red and Blue started more to the west and 'left of red line" was more appealing.

What about 6-7? I thought it offered the biggest variety of options. (Very poor execution here for me - a 2-minute error.)

1-2: I ran trail hard; 'everyone' else seemed to prefer straight. Time difference?

Rudy: Green slash and light green were very nasty & prevalent on Saturday; not nearly the problem on Sprint or Sunday.
