That's a pretty good storm cloud!
We can't see our clouds like that around here, assuming we even get any that are similar. :-(
Whenever anyone asks if I miss anything about Kansas, it's always 3 things:
-- good barbecue
-- KU basketball
-- thunderstorms
When I lived in Sweden there were 3 things I missed:
Storms
Watching baseball
Mexican food
I think the Mexican food situation has improved since I left.
I watched a bunch of basketball and it was good. Not Jayhawk quality, but the games were good and it was nice to be able to get a ticket easily. I watched 2 baseball games and they were not good, not good at all.
I don't thin the Mexican food situation improved much... I missed that too when I lived in Uppsala.
What about "taco fredag"? I guess you must be able to buy some salsa and spices in the local ICA or Konsum.
This also got me thinking about 3 things I miss from living in Sweden (not including anything to do with orienteering). Without giving it much thought:
Good public transit
Cool summers
Good coffee just about everywhere
I just had a terrible thought...what if taco fredag means beef + shedded lettuce + catsup...
In Norway taco fredag (which has a 40% participation rate nationwide) means beef + shredded lettuce + canned corn + cucumber. And maybe pasta.
In Iceland convenience markets, I found (both in 2010 and 2016) a pre-packaged "pepperoni taco".
It's basically a baguette-like roll with ham, cheese, pepperoni, and some sort of spicy-ish mayo.
You can also find really good coffee in Lawrence, as long as you go to the right house.
