I wish I had gone to SVO's meet instead. Having never run at King's Landing, I was excited to be on a new map...until about halfway through the Red course when I was covered in mud and couldn't get out of any of the stupid ditches because they were like mudslides. Well, now I know.

I thought the mud wasn't bad. Having run at King's Landing before I expected it to be a slogfest but it was mostly dry. Nowhere near as bad as the lowlands at Westmoreland.

Perhaps route choices account for the difference at Kings Landing. It was fairly dry at Rocky Ridge, even when crossing the one stream on the course. I don't think I stepped or slid in any mud but you had to watch your step for the rocks. It was also somewhat cool and windy on the ridge.
