Which streamers were not up or you didn't find? Livelox shows you got them all.
I didnt find 2, 7 or 8. Like I said, confident I at least walked past it, but it was so thick I probably just didnt see it. Didnt really feel like standing around in a thunderstorm to continue looking :)
#2 I saw you followed the reenterant NW to SE. When I set it, I came in from due West via a game trail at the top of high point that lead to a small clearing that kind of angled NW uphill and then down into reentrant, it was down inside it on a small tree. You could not see it unless you just about in the reentrant. I did see a makeshift campsite nearby and some bottles, so possible someone mucked with it, but I don't know why anyone would choose that as a campsite.
#7 was very tricky, because the stream that's mapped, I think is the same quality and depth as the game trails there. I had trouble setting it for sure. It's probably a few meters SE of where you turned around, it was closer to the east side of the clearing. Can't imagine anyone would be back there to mess with it, unless deer ate it.
#8 was just a couple of meters up the west bank side of the reentrant as there were no good trees right in the middle of the bottom of the reentrant to hang from. But it was maybe 10-15 meters from where the thicker woods started and a bunch of big deadfall in the reentrant. Another that I wouldn't think would be messed with, since so far off the trail.
I probably won't get back out there until next week or weekend to know for sure. I can let you know if they were still up.
But I'm curious, you seemed to run right thru the marshes on the way to 3, 5, 6, and the big one thru to 7. Were those dry or you just plowed thru not caring about getting wet feet?
Only 6-7 had actual water in it. The others were a little squishy but not really wet. Wet feet didnt really bother me tho, I was already soaked from the thunderstorm, and I was breaking in a new pair of speedcrosses, so it was about time they got a little dirty.
If you ask yourself what Igor would do, the answer is usually, "he'd cross the swamp".
The only time to ask yourself what Igor would do and then not do it is when faced with spaghetti, Bermuda triangle contours, because Igor would go straight and we mere mortals should string together the largest possible features.
Trying to envision the story behind and the picture that must exist of Igor eating spaghetti. Also now trying to figure out the probability that that thought would have ever occurred.
