Discussion: Staying close

I think there's a lot to that. Our only drive longer than 30 mins was the Oceania middle...so even with cooking and laundry and kiddos, it was a very chill couple of weeks for us. Clearly, I have some research to do before we launch into summer O in Europe - worth it to be close, especially with split starts to get Peter out. Hmmmm....

For WMOC 2015 in Sweden seven of us were sharing a 'summerhouse' about 40km north of Gothenburg and although it was nice to be staying in the countryside, usually after the races (all in town) there was only time for grocery shopping on the way home and cooking dinner, before bedtime. Rest days = washing days.

Might go back to the Gothenburg granite terrain for some training next July!
