Hi all,
Bill Langton, the previous chair of JTESC, has resigned. He was finding it increasingly difficult to dedicate sufficient time to JTESC activities, and after some additional demands on his time he decided that rather than let his responsibilities languish, he would resign from JTESC.
This is a public thank-you to Bill for all his hard work on JTESC and as JTESC chair. Bill was the JTESC chair for a couple of years, and had done a very good job calling meetings and running them, following up with actions. Bill led the committee through a wide variety of topics: JNT applications, JNT selection, JWOC selection criteria, JWOC trials, fundraising, communications with parents, rules changes, and safety, for a start.
Until we can appoint a permanent chair, Guy Olsen is stepping in as interim chair of JTESC.
