Discussion: Flooding

Chris thinks his car is totaled. Jim, Carl and I took unnecessary chances crossing deep water and we were all holding our breaths during the crossing. I actually crossed in deeper water than Jim and Carl but the Honda Insight has incredible ground height. We were all very lucky.

I have been to Deam Lake over 80 times - used to help Rocky the naturalist up there. I have never seen that road flood. We need to publish the high water route if we use the park again.

Yes, we exited the park fine since we were told the route by a local. No water at all and maybe 15 minutes longer. But if we knew that beforehand, we could have avoided the cancellation
