Easy one to muck up that - I had similar issues (albeit caused by my brain already being fried). To me it felt like there was quite a lot of climb after crossing the path, which unnerved me to the extent I had to go back to it to double-check I wasn't somewhere else.

Think the setters were pretty kind with the controls they gave us in that section in 45A - #2 was in the flat area to the southeast with good visibility, then #3 and #4 had big attack points.

I test ran that control, was not a fan of it. Got it ok from the N (but more NE than your leg). Had no idea when i came from the W to it though. Horrible vague area!
