When was Stonybrook hit by a tornado?
last summer. The camp trails have been closed since then. That's why we used Whippoorwill for the girl scout training weekend last fall instead of the usual Stonybrook. There is significant damage and downed trees throughout the camp, although somehow fortunately the main buildings at the center of camp were spared. The logging operation has removed most hanging and fallen trees, as well as almost all large ash trees. In some places, going off trail won't be much fun for a number of years, but in others the forest has been opened up. And with the dense network of logging tracks, there should be lots of trail route choice.
