First good job John! Three straight "Rocket of the day" victories.
A very short analysis. John seems to be in pretty good physical shape, even for long legs, but cannot keep concentration. Probably reasons are: (a) Not enough training in relevant terrain. (b) Not used to run events with so many tough competitors (c) Too much "ad-hoc" orienteering. ( Which is typical for Juniors.)
John's splits from day3:
3.40 (82) 3.31 (45) 9.22 (95) 1.26 (9) 1.15 (29) 3.22 (5) 3.31 (65) 2.26 (59) 1.00 (29) 9.19 (15) 1.10 (9) 2.11 (18) 13.40 (80) 5.49 (68) 3.21 (82) 1.53 (92) 0.45 (1)
Finally, last two days will be in a very nice terrain which require a very high skill of orienteering technique capability. It will be interesting to see how John manage this. I have had the opportunity to run in the area a couple of times it's beatiful and you really need to keep your concentration all the way.

Good luck John! You are doing right things like going to Norway and you need to go to Scandinavia for more times.
