Discussion: South Kettle 8-hr Rogaine??

....and they said it couldn't be done! I'm glad someone took advantage of the huge area. But 'Scratchy' isn't the word for that area! It is deadly thorns! What O-map was it...Ottawa Trails? Well look yourself over carefully; that's where I picked up Lyme many springs ago.

Andy has been putting on rogaines and adventure races for years. The thorns are not deadly, deadly would be hawthorn tree thorns. They are just scratchy, but with the right clothes, just a nusnce. Maricel did have a little tick on his hand at one point.
We hit the hot tub after to chlorine any ticks dead after. No one else there you knew.

Gee. What a disappointment. That finally, after years of discussion, someone did all the work needed to put on a decent Rogaine in that huge area. And no one from CAOC came?

He's been doing races there every year, most of the time they are adventure races.
I don't know, I posted the link to the race on FB, it's a different group. There a few AR guys I recognized that have good nav skills.

What about you Chi? My old rogaine partner a number of times. You could of walked the map or two. Beats running in the city dodging people bikes and cars for a day.
