Much too serious about it all. Liam hasn't got enough perspective yet to not be agonised by every single point he loses. Get a few scowls and stares at times that I'm sure he would make more effort to contain if playing with others. Makes him a good competitor but I didn't enjoy playing with him. Hope he plays nicely with Amy when they play doubles together next week. There is at least a better chance he won't be as tired then. Poor thing did have a pretty massive week leading into our match.
I was discussing some of my errors at MTBO on the weekend with some newbies afterwards and they were horrified that I'd won but was still unhappy with my ride! As you say, it's a matter of perspective. Dumb mistakes like I made will cost places in the WC although weren't overly costly in Aus due to lesser competition but from my viewpoint, I shouldn't have made them.
I used to also get very upset with AR teammates when they weren't up to my standard but I've since toned down a fair bit to allow for the fact that not everyone is me (although certain people still irritate me).
*imagines an entire AR team of Ricky clones all arguing amongst themselves*
I suppose the one thing we'd argue about would be who got the map.
I didn't know tRicky even spoke on AR's (or rogaines)!
