Tim thought this control was too easy because it was directly under the power lines. Thanks for proving him wrong ;-)
I wanted to keep it because it was at the end of a finely balanced route choice. I'm surprised no one who's posted their route as yet has gone down to the bottom track. I reckon that was around a minute quicker than going to the top track (as per Felly).

I think I was the only one stupid enough to make a mistake on it. I think for whatever reason I got it in my head that the power lines contoured round the hill and so when I dropped, the power line must have been higher up the hill so that's where I headed. Interesting about the lower route. I hadn't really seen that as an option untill your comment but looks good! But yeah, the course was okay I guess... ;-)

Didn't see the lower route either, definitely better than going up. I agree, the course was very good.
