Discussion: Telemarketers

I rarely get calls at all on my mobile now that the recruiters seem to have forgotten about me so was surprised to get one on Thursday and one on Friday. Of course the first one was from the Modern Group's telemarketing department trying to sell me rollershutters (I eventually got rid of them by saying I was unemployed) and the second was a wrong number.

My favourite trick is to pretend I am a robo-call-answerer. I love the sound of total befuddlement as I ask them to leave a message or enquire as to whether they have an interest in my product for sale.
