that's commitment to parkrun! Some people (around Newcastle) have what is called regionaire status ie they have completed each of the maybe 10?) but I don't think any have actually moved to be close to a parkrun.

Good train service to Melbourne (or from Melbourne depending on your mood).
New hospital with new medical mod cons.
Excellent new theatre with busy program.
Forest surrounding town means little need to run bitumen.
70-80% of the bush orienteering events in Victoria (depending on how you define bush)

Last time I was in the old hospital, Aston was in the emergency booth next to me. If you orienteer you will end up in emergency at some stage.

If you move to Bendigo you will be closer to O events in SA :)

Which presumably is why you are coming over for the To-Day...
When you start living in Bendigo, you have to have a good reason to travel further afield for orienteering. You won't do it just to get your weekly fix.
